This Moment of Truth
So many people are feeling hopeless today. They wake up looking, longingly, waiting for someone to come along and show them the way out of their situation, someone to help. Bettie has always been an advocate for people with disabilities or various kinds of misfortune in life, things we can see, but her book is designed to help you handle the things we cannot see, yet may face each day. A place to find strength, restore your joy and be reminded that no matter the situation, it is possible to win, in This Moment of Truth.
Bettie thought about the idea of writing a book for a long time. She often stated that she wanted her book to be something of substance, something that gave value to anyone who came in contact with it. One day she mentioned this dream of writing a book to her mentor who immediately challenged her to “pick a date.” Pick a date when she would publish her book, and so, began “This Moment of Truth”
This is not like any other book. It is a book on a journey, one that has traveled through time and space to get to you. I remember listening to Bettie on this group Mastermind I attended several years ago and I was immediately fascinated by how she spoke; the tone of her voice, the words she used, her articulation. She is able to touch you in a secret place that invites you to listen more carefully, feel more deeply and express authentically. That is the same quality that Bettie brings to you in her book,“This Moment of Truth.” A moment for you to find Peace, Hope, Joy, Love, even a friend. A place to come at the beginning of the day, to meet at lunch or somewhere to relax at the end of your day. It doesn’t matter the time, it just matters that you do, take a moment each day and find “This Moment of Truth.”
